Owned and published by Odhams press. It ran from the early 1910's to mid 1960. In 1939
it merged with Film Pictorial. These magazines can be seen at www.filmpictorial.com
The magazine went through a number of formats. The most collectable are from the
beginning and end of the series. A good 1930 example is Edward
Arnold in Aug 37 and a great example from the end of the series is Carole Leslie in May 1960
This collection of sites was started as a hobby in 2001. After publication of the first site the
e-mails from film fans started to flood in. After so many requests we decided to develop the site into a resource for film fans. The posters and the CD have been
developed as a result of requests from site visitors.
